  ABOUT CASA TORRE

CASA TORRE is a beautiful villa set in a typically Spanish rural setting with magnificent views down the Sayalonga Valley to the Mediterranean Sea. Behind the house, the dramatic Sierra Almijara mountains look best in the early mornings when the peaks are tinged with golden morning sun.

The villa has been extensively and carefully renovated. With is appealing combination of Oriental and Moorish influences, Casa Torre attracts the admiration and compliments of all our guests - and as a result, many of them return each year. The house and the "Casita" (a pretty guest house in the garden) are fully central heated and there is a wood burning stove in the living room which is cosy and romantic on cooler evenings.

The walled garden provides total privacy and, depending on the season, guests can enjoy the scent of jasmine, lavender, roses and honeysuckle. Other plants include yucca, oleander and geraniums.

The swimming pool, which is 8m x 4m and heated so it can be used year round, is adjacent to a pretty covered pergola for “al fresco” dining. There is a Weber BBQ.

Moving indoors, the exotic paintings and the colourful Moorish influences are a reflection of the Hong Kong-based owner, Susan, who has travelled extensively and especially in the Far East. Elegant Thai and Chinese fabrics, original Vietnamese artwork and many interesting objects d’art have given the villa a relaxed and tranquil air.

There are three spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (including the Casita) making the house ideal for groups of up to six guests, whilst ensuring a high degree of privacy. There is a cot and a roll-away bed for children up to 12 years and a cot for babies.
